Their courage and quiet resolve continue to shape the freedoms we often take for granted. Remembrance Day invites reflection, gratitude, and a renewed commitment to uphold the values for which they gave so much.
We thank them and will remember them always 🫡

New Mill RBL offers sincere thanks to everyone who took part in our Remembrance Day commemoration. Your support helped create a respectful and meaningful service for our community.

We extend particular thanks to the Army Cadets, Air Cadets, West Yorkshire Police, Cubs, Brownies, and Scouts for your presence, discipline, and contribution to the day.

Thank you to the whole community for coming together in remembrance.

🇬🇧 Remembrance Day Service – Sunday 9th November 🇬🇧

The New Mill Branch of the Royal British Legion will be attending the Remembrance Day service at Christ Church, New Mill, on Sunday 9th November.

Following the service, there will be a formal parade to New Mill Club, where our Memorial Room is situated.

We invite everyone to join us in paying tribute to those who gave their lives in service to our country.

“At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.” 🌺
