Didn’t the hall look Fantatstic today? Thank you so much for coming out in the rain to support our lovely Rural Christmas Fair. Thank you too for your patience if you had to queue to get in. How amazing that in our little village of Holmbridge we were at maximum capacity for fire safety.

We are so very grateful for your support. 🥰

And that’s a wrap! Another Rural Christmas Fair has been and gone… and we are so glad you came!

The weather outside was frightful, but the day was so delightful…

💫The stallholders pulled out all the stops to put on an amazing display of creative talent

💫The bakers and jammers and soup makers worked their culinary magic

💫St David’s Church volunteers (and their friends and relations 😉) decorated and greeted and served and waited on and washed up and cleared up and did it all with a smile

💫Santa and his elves made a special trip from Lapland

💫and our fabulous visitors… I think we lost count after 1,000 😆 … came and queued in the rain and supported us and we are truly grateful.

We hope everyone had an amazing day and we look forward to welcoming you back next year. Don’t forget to put 21st November 2026 in your diary, you won’t want to miss it. 😉

Here at Holmbridge Rural Fairs HQ we love our dogs… we really do 🐶🥰…

But if you are wondering whether to bring your pooch to the Fair this Saturday please can we ask that you leave them at home … we only allow guide dogs and trained assistance dogs into the Church and Church Hall.

We have made this decision for health and safety reasons and to be mindful of our other visitors. Some people have pet allergies or phobias and we have lots of families visiting with young children. The hall gets very busy so our priority has to be ensuring all our visitors and stallholders have a lovely time.

You can of course take your pet home a treat… we will be selling home made dog biscuits on our cake stall 😋

Our fabulous Rural Christmas Fair is on Saturday 15th November this year and we are so excited.😁🎄🎅🏼❄️🎁☕️🍰

With gorgeous curated stalls to browse (watch out for our next post to see who will be there), and delicious home baking and homemade mulled wine in our Church cafe, it’s the perfect way to start the festive season!

The fair is organised by volunteers at St David’s Church, Holmbridge and proceeds from the day go to St David’s work in the community.

Do come along and support this lovely event.
