The team are getting ready for the new term following a busy summer supporting the Community Cafe held at Christ Church.

All existing Pantry recipients are aware of the new process that will be in operation from Thursday 3rd of September at the usual time of 8.30am until 10am.

New members are welcome if you are struggling to make ends meet and you fulfill the pantry criteria; being a resident of Flackwell Heath, work here, attend a village school or church. Pop along and have a chat if you are unsure. We are a very friendly and welcoming team.

Please find the opening dates for this term and note that we are open twice a month moving forward.

As ever, if you would like to chat about the new arrangements in person, the team would be very happy to speak with you.

Have you spied a tidy up in Sainsbury's in Flackwell? Head Office has made the change. We are waiting for a new label.

We are delighted that our Sainsbury's Local is continuing to support the Pantry. The Pantry Team will make sure to empty the container regularly. Any single item that is donated makes an immediate difference to the Pantry recipients. We are grateful for your continued support.

Plenty of hot weather options available! Please do come along and enjoy the company of others. Plenty of room for everyone - families welcome.

This is for residents of Flackwell Heath but if you have visitors with you for the summer hols, they would be most welcome too.

We would like to let you know about the Crisis Resilience Fund. There has been a change in policy at a National level - for Bucks it is the Helping Hands Team that manage the fund. Residents apply direct.

There is a NEW ability to request one off payment to help in emergencies perhaps if a household item has broken etc. This fund is accessible to all residents. See below for the full details and how to apply (alongside criteria etc.)

There are some changes coming in September for the Pantry. For those asking for some details - please see the article published in the latest Grapevine newsletter. Please reach out to the Pantry Team in person on a Thursday morning if you have any specific questions.

We will publish termly opening days for the Pantry starting from September.

An invitation for our Pantry families - Christ Church is your church. Book in when you attend the Pantry this week.

We would really love to have you along.

Our church family summer BBQ is at 12pm on Sunday 5th July - and we'd love you to join us! You can sign up at church to let us know you're coming. Come join us as we celebrate the gift that is our Christ Church family.
