Due to the forecast temperature of 31°C on Tuesday, we have decided to change the planned lunch menu to a Pâté Ploughman’s Lunch to help keep everyone comfortable in the hot weather.

The Chicken Curry has been rescheduled and will now be served on 14th July.

Next week is Medley School of Dance Bring-a-Friend Week.

Anyone fancy being our friend for an hour? … 😂💃

Bring a Friend Week is coming!

From 8th–13th June, Medley students can bring a friend along to any class and give them the chance to experience dance at Medley.

If your friend signs up afterwards, both dancers will be entered into a draw to win a £20 Amazon voucher.

🌟 National Volunteers’ Week 2026 🌟

This week, we proudly celebrate National Volunteers’ Week and take the opportunity to say a huge thank you to all of the incredible volunteers who give their time, energy, skills and kindness to support our community.

At Wrights Meadow Centre, our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. Whether they’re serving refreshments, helping at events, supporting activities, maintaining our facilities, fundraising, welcoming visitors, or simply offering a friendly smile and listening ear, their contribution makes a real difference every single day.

Our centre would not be the vibrant, welcoming place it is without the dedication of these amazing individuals. Their commitment helps us bring people together, reduce isolation, create opportunities, and strengthen our community.

To every volunteer, past and present – thank you for everything you do. Your generosity, enthusiasm and support are truly appreciated, and we are incredibly grateful to have you as part of the Wrights Meadow Centre family. ❤️
