Our project Fresh Hope Foodclub is not a foodbank. It’s a club membership which gives dignity to families with long term food insecurity to be supported and loved around fresh surplus food. The Foodclub offers families recommended from Children’s Centres & Health Visitors an opportunity to become members for a small affordable weekly fee payable when they visit the lunchtime Foodclub currently hel

d on Tuesdays 12-1.30pm at the Free Methodist Church, Abbey Barn Road Wycombe Marsh and Fridays 12.30-2pm Castlefield Childrens Centre, Rutland Ave. Welcomed by a Hope Befriender volunteer, families pay their fees and are then offered lunchtime refreshments (from surplus) and when ready invited to select their food, which has been set out like a market stall with an array of rescued good quality, highly nutritious fruit, vegetables, eggs and bakery products, as well as flowers. They are able to fill two standard sized carrier bags, which they bring.
