Hi all, we have had some fresh bark delivered for the playpark, hopefully this will be a decent replenishment under the swings, frame and around the edges. We are planning a bit of a working party to distribute it tomorrow (Saturday 9th from approx 930am) if anyone is able to help and can bring a shovel/rake/wheebarrow that would be really appreciated! Many hands make light work, thanks in advance!

Have you ever walked past this building but never been in it? You’d be surprised how many visitors haven’t.
Well tomorrow you can come inside. We’re open from 2-4pm and we’re serving tea and cake as well as hosting a Community Flower Festival.
Come and see what treasures lie within its walls.

Did anyone else see the Northern lights last night? This was taken by me at the top of the lane. There could be a chance of seeing it again tonight. Cameras on night mode pick up more detail then the naked eye so better to use a camera or camera phone.

Another period of industrial action starts on bank holiday Monday 6 May running through to Sat 11 May. No train services at all on Wed 8 May. On Tuesday, Thursday & Friday next week, very few northbound trains will call at Saunderton. I suggest you check all journeys online or by using the Chiltern Railways App.
