We're in need of some essentials to help our community. If you can, please donate cooking sauces, rice, pasta, tinned meat & fish, tea & coffee, sugar, cereals, nappies, and sanitary towels.

You can find our collection bins at Lidl, Aldi, Tesco Eden, and Morrisons, or drop them off at Wycombe Food Hub. Every donation helps us feed those in need and reduce food waste. Thank you for your support

We have secured a new building that will allow us to continue and expand our work.
But before we can move in, we must carry out a full refit to make the building safe, functional and suitable for food storage, community use, and partnership delivery.

To make this possible, we need to raise:

£50,000 – One‑off cost to refit and prepare the new building
This essential refit includes:

£75,000 – Annual running costs to keep the hub operating during and after the move

Can you help us

Here at Wycombe Food Hub we have lots of Potatoes and lots of Double Cream! All individually priced and the cream is free with a basket purchase if a member of our loyalty scheme.

What can you do with those you may ask?

The answer:

Dauphinoise potatoes

Ingredients
• 1 kg/2lb 4oz floury potatoes such as Russet, King Edward, Maris Piper or Desiree, thinly sliced (about 3mm/⅛in thick)
• 3–4 garlic cloves, grated
• 500ml/17½fl oz double cream (you may need a bit extra)
• salt and freshly ground black pepper
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 160C/140C Fan/Gas 2.
2. Place the potato slices and grated garlic in a bowl and season to taste. Pour over the cream and mix well. Pour into a large gratin dish.
3. Press the potato down with the back of a spoon or your hands so it forms a solid layer. The cream should come to just below the top layer of potato, top up with more double cream if necessary.
4. Bake for 1–1½ hours, or until the potatoes are completely tender.

🚧 Something BIG is happening... 🚧

Today marks the start of an exciting new chapter for Wycombe Food Hub as we begin work on creating our brand-new Community Resilience Hub in High Wycombe! 🎉

This new space will allow us to do so much more for our community, bringing together food support, community projects, volunteering opportunities, wellbeing activities, training, and practical help all under one roof.

But before we can open the doors, we need your help to transform an empty unit into a thriving community hub.

🔨 We are looking for tradespeople and volunteers to help us get the space ready, including:

✔ Electricians✔ Plumbers✔ Painters & Decorators✔ Carpenters✔ Shopfitters✔ CCTV & Security Engineers✔ Flooring Specialists✔ General Handypersons✔ Anyone willing to lend a hand

This hub will become a welcoming place where people can access support, build connections, learn new skills, and strengthen community resilience.

📍 We will also have meeting rooms and community spaces available for local groups and organisations looking for a home in High Wycombe.

Over the coming weeks we'll be sharing more details, behind-the-scenes updates, and opportunities to get involved.

❤️ If you'd like to volunteer, donate materials, offer professional skills, or support the project, we'd love to hear from you.

Together, we're building something truly special for our community.
