Calling all bakers, makers and growers - you can help people who are homeless.

We need donated goods for our stand at the Beaconsfield Country Fayre on Bank Holiday Monday, 31 August.

Could you bake, grow, or make something for us to sell on the day?

We’d be delighted to accept homemade or homegrown donations, including:

Cakes, cookies, cupcakes, pies, and bakes
Bread and rolls
Jams, marmalade, honey
Allotment fruit or vegetables
Indoor or outdoor plants

Every item helps us raise vital funds.

You can drop your offerings at our office on Castle Street on Friday 28th August, bring them to the stall on the day at 10am, or we can collect from you. This can be arranged nearer the time.

Join us at our Annual Showcase as we reflect on the year gone by, highlight lives changed and celebrate how together our community tackles homelessness.

Hear the impact we make together, what is coming for the future, meet and chat with our team, interact with our displays, and experience the results of the work we do to help people find safe, secure homes.

We look forward to hearing from our keynote speaker, Simon Hewett-Avison, CEO of Homeless Oxfordshire and Trustee at Homeless Link.

He will share a sector-wide perspective on where homelessness services are today, where they may be heading, and how charities are responding to the challenges ahead.

Drawing on both local experience and national insight, Simon's keynote will help us reflect on what these changes could mean for people facing homelessness and for organisations like Wycombe Homeless Connection.

On Tuesday 7 July
At Wycombe Museum, Priory Ave, High Wycombe HP13 6PX

Countless hours are spent behind-the-scenes by our fantastic volunteer teams. Goods that have been donated are sorted and stored ready to be given out. Our admin volunteers reply to emails, take calls, answer our homelessness helpline and help out with lots of office based tasks. Plus our church and community links keep their churches and community groups up to date with our news.

We need more admin volunteers! If you’re interested visit our website to find out more:

Our wonderful frontline volunteers are often the first people that the people we serve have contact with. Welcoming people to our Support Centre and helping them with their housing crisis, serving at Plug-In our weekly drop in for people who are street homeless, meeting people who might need our help on outreach walks, answering emails, taking calls on our homeless helpline and more!

Thank you all!

It's Volunteers' Week 2026!

It takes a whole community to help stop homelessness. WHC has a truly amazing team of volunteers who help us to bring help and hope to people facing a housing crisis across south Buckinghamshire.

Today we extend a special thank you to nearly 300 volunteers who made our winter night shelter happen!

Together we provided a safe place to sleep, home cooked meals, community and more for 30 people who would otherwise have been forced to sleep on the street. Amazingly 20 of our guests were found accommodation before the shelter ended and more have been found a safe home since. We are still working for the rest.

Without our volunteers, projects like this that change lives simply couldn't happen. Thank you.
