Big dreams require big adventures! Next summer, our incredible Cubs and Scouts are off to Germany with Humberside Scouts. They are working incredibly hard to fundraise for this trip, and you can be a huge part of their journey. Head down to Pulcroft Road in Hessle today! Find a brilliant bargain for yourself and directly fund a life-changing experience for our local youth. Let’s rally together and help them reach Germany!

Every year our Scout den and the surrounding grounds need a little bit of TLC, and this is a brilliant chance for us all to come together and make a real difference. We’d love your help — and truly, everyone can get involved. There are jobs for all ages and abilities, and you don’t need to stay all day. Even an hour of your time will make a huge impact.

It’s always a fun, friendly day, and we’ll be providing refreshments to keep everyone going. Working side‑by‑side is a great way to strengthen our community, and as the saying goes, many hands make light work.

We’d be delighted to see you there and really appreciate any time you can give.

🦔🦔THE HEDGEHOGS ARE COMING🦔🦔
The Hessle Hedgehog Children's Trail starts this Saturday!
The hedgehogs are in position and ready to be discovered 👀
Our FREE family activity is taking place around Hessle Town Centre from Saturday 18th July to Sunday 6th September 2026. The trail is supported by Hessle Hedgehog Hospital and St Annes Sixth Form & College.

Twenty colourful hedgehogs will be hiding in the windows of 20 local businesses throughout the town centre. Your challenge is to spot each hedgehog and match it to the business where you found it.

Every hedgehog has been uniquely designed by talented students from St Anne’s School & Sixth Form, making each one a fantastic piece of artwork to discover.

How to take part:
🦔Collect an entry form from Reception at Hessle Town Hall or from any of the participating businesses listed below from the 18th of July.
🦔Explore Hessle Town Centre and find all 20 hidden hedgehogs.
🦔Match each hedgehog to the correct business on your entry form.
🦔Return your completed form to Hessle Town Hall before the closing date.

As a thank you for taking part, every child who returns a completed entry form will receive a small gift (one gift per child, while stocks last).

Some great summer holiday activities.

We are bringing back our Summer HAF Program!

Workign once again with East Riding Council, Shetland Pony and Friends Animal Therapy , and Calm Waters Cafe we are bringing in three weeks of activities in the summer!

This program is for children aged 6 to 16, and eligible for free school meals. If your child meets these requirements, please book on through the eequ system

but don't fret we do have a limited number of paid places available (£66.67/per child/day)

The available dates are as follows:

July: 21st, 22nd, 23rd, and 24th

August: 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st
