All our horses are rehomed on a permanent loan basis. There is a one off fee of £1000 and you are required to be a member of Racehorse Relief for the duration of the loan, which is currently £10 per month. Most horses have a 12 stone weight limit, although for some of the smaller, finer ones it may be less.

If you are under the age of 18 you will have to get a parent or guardian to apply on your behalf. The first thing to do if you are interested in rehoming with us is to fill out our rehoming form. We ask that you be as open and honest as possible as this gives us the best chance of matching one of our horses to you. There is a lot to consider when matching potential loanees to horses.

Hmmm there's a fake in our midst! This little cob thinks he's a racehorse! This is Boo, he lives at Racehorse Relief and belongs to staff member Elishia. He thinks he's a racehorse, but sadly can't quite keep up when galloping round the fields. I'd like to say he's a calming companion, but he's really quite cheeky and sometimes a bit naughty. 😊

We are so lucky here at RR that we have THE BEST horsey chiropractor in the world . Emma at Gilberts Coombe Chiropractic is absolutely fantastic and the horses love her and their treatments. She takes the time to watch the horses move, listens to all our feedback and copes with some challenging cases. We really like to test her knowledge! Emma is responsible for checking over each newbie before we start working with them and tailoring plans to suit their needs. We are very grateful for her support. 😁
