This Loneliness Awareness Week, we're shining a light on some of the organisations across Cornwall helping people feel more connected throughout the year.
Through the People in Mind programme, we work alongside a network of voluntary and community organisations that create opportunities for people to meet others, build relationships, share experiences, and find support.
From walking groups and wellbeing activities to peer support groups and community events, there are many ways to connect with others who understand what you're going through.
Our core partners Age UK Cornwall & The Isles of Scilly, Cornwall Mind and Young People Cornwall deliver a range of group activities throughout the year, whilst our Community Wellbeing Fund in 2026 supports 20 additional organisations working with communities across Cornwall to reduce loneliness, improve wellbeing, and strengthen social connections.
If you or someone you know would like support to connect with local services, activities or groups, the Community Gateway can help.
