We're running dangerously low on towels in the cattery!

We use towels everyday to provide addional bedding and shelter for the cats, to help with cleaning the cats units and lining cat carriers.

Donations of towels can be brought to the cattery.

How has this gorgeous girl been waiting 12 weeks for her forever home — and not one adopter has asked about her? 🥺

Meet Twix! 🧡

This beautiful 1-year-old neutered girl came into the care of RSPCA Bluebell Ridge from a large multi-animal household. You may recognise her as the wonderful mum of our much-loved Crisp Kittens! 🥰

Twix spent her time caring for everyone else, but now it's finally her turn to be someone's special girl.

When you first meet Twix, she can be a little timid and may need some time to decide that you're trustworthy. But please don't let those initial nerves fool you…

Once Twix feels settled, her cheeky side comes out! 😹🧡

She's energetic, playful and full of fun, and we love seeing her personality emerge as she becomes more comfortable. She's the kind of girl who just needs someone willing to look beyond that first shy impression and give her the chance to show you who she really is.

Twix could live with children aged 12 years or older who understand that she may need a little time to settle and build her confidence.

After 12 weeks of waiting, we're desperate for Twix to finally have someone walk through our doors and say, "She's the one." 💕

Some bonds are simply too special to break… and Fiona & Tiny are one of those very special pairs. 🥹🐾

This gorgeous aunt and nephew duo have now been waiting 9 weeks for someone to see just how wonderful they are — and we’re really hoping their forever family is out there. ❤️

Tiny is the confident one. He’s friendly, curious and always the first to investigate what’s going on or come over for a fuss. Fiona is a little more reserved and can take some time to warm up, but we think the busy cattery environment can be a little overwhelming for her.

Together, they bring out the very best in each other. Fiona watches her brave nephew to see if something is safe before following his lead, and we absolutely adore seeing these two curled up together for a cosy cat nap. 💤💕

They’re looking for a home together with:
🏡 No other cats
🐶 Ideally no dogs, although a calm, more sedate dog may be considered
👧 Children aged 10+ who understand Fiona may need a little extra time and patience to settle

Fiona & Tiny don’t need to be separated to find their forever home — they just need someone willing to welcome them both and give them the time, love and patience they deserve. 🥰

🐾 Volunteer Opportunity – Morning Cattery Cleaning 🐾

Join the team at RSPCA Bluebell Ridge and help make a real difference to the cats in our care! ❤️

We’re looking for reliable volunteers to help with our morning cleaning routine in the cattery.

Duties include:

🧹 Cleaning cat accommodation (including litter trays)
🪣 Sweeping and mopping the cattery building
🧼 Washing bowls and litter trays
🐱 Spending time socialising with the cats while you work

This role is an essential part of keeping our cats healthy, comfortable, and happy while they wait for their forever homes.

🕘 Volunteer hours: 9:15am – 12:30pm

📅 Current availability:
• Tuesdays
• Wednesdays

Reliability and consistency are really important, as the cats depend on us every day — so we’re looking for volunteers who can commit to turning up regularly.

Of referrals to our interventions team involving harm to cats this year, 64% involved children aged 11 and under, with one in five involving children aged 6 or younger!

That’s why we’ve launched 'How to be Kind to Cats'. The interactive video and quiz helps children to understand cat behaviour and recognise when cats are feeling scared or stressed.

💗 Meet Fiona & Tiny — this adorable duo are ready to steal your hearts! 💗

Fiona and her nephew Tiny share the sweetest bond and are looking for a forever home together. 🥰

Tiny is a confident, friendly boy who loves people and is always ready for a fuss. Fiona is just as sweet, but she likes to take a little more time to warm up before showing you her affectionate side. Once she knows you, she’s a lovely girl who enjoys attention too. ❤️

Together, they make a brilliant team — Tiny brings out Fiona’s confidence, and they absolutely love snuggling up together for a cosy cat nap! 💤🐱🐱

☕ Tetley is looking for his perfect cuppa… and by that, we mean a forever home! 🐱💙

This handsome 2-year-old neutered boy came to us from a large multi-cat household. Sadly, Tetley arrived poorly with cat flu, but after lots of care and TLC from our team, he has recovered beautifully. 🥰

Tetley is a flu carrier, so he needs to be the only pet in a calm, quiet, adult-only home.

He’s a very nervous lad who needs someone with plenty of patience to help him settle and learn that he’s finally safe. ❤️

Tetley is available through our Foster to Adopt scheme, giving his new family a month to help him settle before making the commitment to adopt.

Beautiful Cherry is a 3-year-old girl who has had quite enough of the busy multi-cat life, thank you very much! 😂

After spending her life having litter after litter, Cherry was finally rescued, spayed and given the chance to start over. 💗

She was shy at first, but this sweet girl has really found her confidence and now LOVES a fuss. 🥰

Cherry has one very important request for her new home…

👉 She wants to be the ONLY pet! 👈

No more sharing her humans. No more competing for attention. Cherry wants to be the star of the show — and frankly, we think she deserves it! 👑
