π LET'S FLOOD THE BEACH WITH HOPE! π€
β¨THIS SATURDAY 13th JUNEβ¨
From the RNLI to the Dove Cafe, we are planning to turn Hastings beach into a living patchwork quilt.
To mark the beginning of Refugee Week, everyone is being invited to come down to the beach from 5pm in order to be captured by drone camera at 6pm, wearing orange, the colour of Courage, in order to Stand Together and Be Seen.
Bring your project, your business, your organisation, your people, alongside your family, friends and pets, and take your place in a human patchwork quilt stretching from the RNLI to The Dove CafΓ©.
We will wear orange, stand together, be visible and hold hands stretching across the beach in a show of courage.
Do come and join us if you can - and tell as many people as possible (family, friends, neighbours, colleagues, complete strangers!) to come along too! Look out for the Orange Flags which will be placed across the seafront as meeting points.

This event and experience will be filmed & photographed as a show of solidarity with refugees. So the more people we can summon up, the more we will be "seen" and the more we can portray that message of hope in a world which is so desperate for it.
Thank you to Caitlin Lock at Hastings Photo Studio (@ The Yard, Hastings) for donating production services to this project (www.hastingsphotostudio.co.uk).
SATURDAY, 13th JUNE
Meet from 5pm in order to be captured by drone camera at 6pm.
See you there and thank you in advance for coming!
