Today Lions Club of Hastings celebrated its 57th Charter lunch at the Bannatyne Hotel in Hastings on the same day that Lions International was founded 109 years ago in Chicago by Melvin Jones.
We were joined by the Chairman of East Sussex County Council and The Mayor of Hastings 2026/2027 and from the YMCA Mrs Judith Monk BEM.
The President gave a brief presentation on the clubs activities during the municipal year which included releasing the total amount of donations to date which topped over £25,000.oo.
Where theres a need there is a lion.

Today Lions Club of Hastings will be celebrating its 57th anniversary of service whilst Lions International celebrate their 109th anniversary today.

Lions Club of Hastings want your old and unwanted eye glasses/ spectacles.
There are various Lions recycling collection bins located across the Borough including Specsavers Hastings located within the Priory Meadow Shopping Centre.

Lucian Fernando joined the Hastings Lions CIO yesterday and looks forward to adding value to the club and its activities within the community.
