Supporting Older People
is a registered charity based in the Harrogate District and is administered by three part-time members of staff and a Board of Trustees.

Businesses of Harrogate, Knaresborough and the surrounding area... WE NEED YOU!

We support more than 300 older people at any one time and have helped to enrich the lives of thousands of individuals.

All this is delivered by a small but dedicated team - just three part time salaried staff, supported and guided by our volunteer trustees and, of course, our army of volunteer befrienders.

We are asking local businesses to support us with a donation of just £1000 per annum to become a Supporting Older People Business Champion.

The annual cost of running Supporting Older People, including all office, staff and administration costs is currently £90,000.

Our funding comes from successful grant applications, donations and our own fundraising efforts such as our charity ball.

It becomes more challenging every year, which is why we need you!
