Nobody expects to become a carer overnight.
When dementia touches your family, the days can feel overwhelming, and it's easy to feel like you're the only one holding it all together.

You're not.

At Age Concern, we run dementia hubs, memory cafés and outreach support across Faversham, Sittingbourne and Medway, places where you can put the kettle on, sit with people who genuinely get it, and stop carrying it all alone for an hour or two.

There's no pressure and nothing to sign up for.

We're on the lookout for a few more carers to join our homecare team, covering both Medway and Faversham.

It's not the easiest job in the world, and some days will test you, but it's the kind of work where you go home knowing you've actually made a difference to someone. Helping people stay comfortable and independent in their own homes is a real privilege, even on the tough days.

You don't need a wall of qualifications or years in the sector.
What matters most to us is that you're kind, dependable, and you genuinely like being around people.

We're looking for someone special to join our team.
Do you enjoy helping people? Are you looking for a role where you can genuinely make a difference to someone's day?

We're currently looking for a Community Footcare Assistant to join our friendly team, providing a basic footcare service to people aged 50+ across Medway.

It's a rewarding role that helps older people stay comfortable, mobile and independent in their own homes.

We provide full training, holiday pay, uniform, PPE and equipment, as well as paid travel time and mileage. The role is Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays), and you'll need to be confident managing your own diary, with a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
