Some of our members had the privilege to sing at one of our Altos wedding yesterday over in Harrogate.
We will be sharing some of the official video & photography at a later date.

But no performance is made without a warm up.

And GCC do it via the coach’s Bluetooth /karaoke styler

Well, it’s still technically summer and you know the sun will be shining 🤞.

So why not come along to Ledston Hall Stables WF10 2BB between 10am till 4pm & join in the fun from hooking ducks, hobby-horsing around, dog shows, stalls, food and much more.

Some of choir will be attending but we can’t promise any singing as we are there in support of our lovely “Alto” Wendy who is organising the event in memory of her late father on what would be his birthday and also to raise much needed funds for 2 equally amazing charities Martin House Children's Hospice & Yorkshire Ambulance Service Charity

We hope to see you then. Don’t forget to bring your cash & loose change .

Our friends over at Yorkshire Ambulance Service Choir-Wakefield are helping to host a family fun day on Saturday 5th September to support two charities.
If you like Horses. Dogs, & just good old fashioned family fun.

Well it is nearly time for wedding bells .
Roll on 31st August when choir will be performing at our lovely Alto “Leonie” wedding.

We will be entertaining the guests on arrival before singing Leonie down the aisle & back again once she’s grabbed her man.

It’s a privilege to be asked to take part in their special day & we are keeping our fingers crossed for good weather over in Harrogate.

It’s about supporting each other & given back to community & friends as well as to make memories too.

If you’ve followed us for a while you may know that both Leonie
& her family have supported choir by designing & distributing all our posters as well as sourcing & making all the decorations for our themed concerts
So thank you Bray family & My Homecare Yorkshire for your valued contributions & we look forward to meeting more of you on the 31st.

Choir rehearsals will return on Weds 2nd September when we will be moving forward learning new songs ahead of our upcoming charity show & Christmas performances… yes (I know it’s still August but we have quite a few booked in already-Plus our MD Liz is everything mad for 🎄 🌲🎅🎁)

Happy Yorkshire Day Everyone.

Welcome to gods own country !

Our fabulous MD Liz Welburn
has lived “up north” for many years & has been leading our choir for well over 8 yrs..

But since recently moving into the heart of LS25 …
Shes started talking
“Proper Yorkshire like”

During rehearsals we will be sat staring open mouthed & Liz asks what’s wrong?
Then the realisation hits I’ve done it again haven’t I?

So far we’ve had …..

Aye, it’ll be reyt!
Ey up!
Tha knows!
& much more …

And the most important thing is she loves a brew……

So I think you’ll agree she’s more Yorkshire than she’s letting on 😉😉😉.
And we wouldn’t want her any other way.

Don’t panic:

We do welcome everyone to GCC, no audition, no experience or need to read music .

Tha doesna have to live round 'ere ya no!

We are back on Weds 2nd September for a new term.
That means new songs to learn and then to get into 🎄🎅 spirit mode as we have several bookings leading up up too the festivities.

ALL of us at GCC would like to thank our wonderful audience who came out to see/hear us ahead of the England game last Saturday night.
Most certainly a night of Love & we were so happy to share it with you.
Very special thanks to the ladies My Homecare Yorkshire for all the posters and design work in the hall.
You never fail to disappoint and your skill & enthusiast manner is so very nice.
Plus to Christine at The Main Deal for the donation of some updated uniforms - that will come in hand for our special project next month.



Due to a prior engagement during August Choir has broken up early for the summer.
Our new term starts bank on Weds 2nd September when you would receive a warm welcome if you’d like so come sing with us.
