Leeds SEND Parents/Carers Public Page We are a local not for profit support group, for parents carers who have children with SEND.

We offer peer support via our private f.b group and face to face meetings. We also run lots of activities for children including soft play, and parties.

🌈 NEW SEN ONLY SESSION at FUNALOT🌈

We’re excited to introduce our brand new SEN Only Soft Play Session, a calm, welcoming and inclusive environment where children can play, explore and have fun at their own pace 💙

✨ Reduced noise environment✨ Relaxed atmosphere✨ Smaller, calmer sessions✨ Safe and inclusive play✨ Friendly and understanding staff✨ Freedom to explore through play✨ Limited numbers for a calmer experience

📅 Every Wednesday⏰ 3PM – 5:30PM📍 Funalot, 19 Pottery Street, Castleford WF10 1NJ
💷 Just £1 per child

To help maintain a relaxed and comfortable environment, we’ll initially be trialling these sessions at approximately half our usual capacity 💙

We know many SEN families already have busy weekly routines with clubs, therapies and activities, so we’d really love your feedback 💭

Would Wednesday after school work for you, or would another weekday be better? Please let us know in the comments or message us privately, we want to make these sessions as accessible and supportive as possible for local families ❤️

This is Us: Proud to Belong – A SEND Celebration

📍 Leeds Kirkgate Market Event Space (food hall)

The Leeds SEND Youth Council are a group of young people with special educational needs and disabilities who work together to share their views and help make Leeds more inclusive.

This event is all about bringing people together so no one feels alone – celebrating identity, raising awareness, and sharing voices.

• Creative activities like badge-making, flag design and fidget toy making
• A sensory area
• Performances
• Information stalls and support
• A welcoming space to connect with others
