Welcome to the page for the 1st Ellon Boys Brigade Company.

For 125 years, the 1st Ellon Boys Brigade has partnered with the church to work with children and young people to support and development the personal Christian faith. We are supported by our fantastic volunteers who come to share their skills, passion and faith. The Boys Brigade engages with children and young people in the Ellon community, providing opportunities to meet together and engage in a variety of fun and developmental activities. We believe that empowering children and young people is important and do this by involving them in decision making at all levels of the BB's and giving responsibility appropriate to their age and aptitude.

Anchor Section were creating poppies this week for the Anchors 1000 poppies for 1000 thank yous. We are part of the national challenge to create these thank yous to all who have served in conflict on our behalf. The boys even managed a 2 min silence, a big achievement for wriggly Anchors! …well 1:55 while watching the BBC “Poppies” showing war from the perspective of animals and finding the poppies spring up in the churned battle fields when peace returned. We won’t be on parade on Sunday with the big boys, but We Will Remember.
