🚨🔥🚒1 DAY TO GO! 🚒🔥🚨

ELLON FIRE STATION OPEN DAY IS HAPPENING TOMORROW!

Come along for a fantastic family day out with:
• Fire Service vehicles
• Local charity stalls
• Bouncy castle
• Tombola & raffles
• Sandpit
• Burgers & Sausages
• Ice creams
• Homebakes
• Candy floss
• Face painting
…and much more!

There will be a parade starting outside the Buchan Hotel at 12.15pm. It will be lead by Ellon & District RBL Pipe Band and they will bring eveyone round to the Fire sation for opening at 12.30pm.

Teas and coffees will be available at the Ellon Bowling Club, across from the station.

You can also pop along and visit our friends at Police Scotland North East at the Ellon police station, who will also have there doors open!

If possible please bring cash with you. We do have card readers but they won't be at every stall

🚨🔥🚒WE ARE ALMOST READY TO GO! 🚒🔥🚨

ELLON FIRE STATION OPEN DAY IS HAPPENING TODAY!

Come along for a fantastic family day out with:
• Fire Service vehicles

• Tombola & raffles

• Burgers & Sausages

There will be a parade starting outside the Buchan Hotel at 12.15pm. It will be lead by Ellon & District RBL Pipe Band and they will bring eveyone round to the Fire sation for opening at 12.30pm.

There will be a live RTC demonstration taking place around 14:00.

Teas and coffees will be available at the Ellon Bowling Club, across from the station.

If anyone has any spare items that they would be willing to donate towards our Tombola we would greatly appreciate it. If you have an item you can drop it off to the Fire station on a Tuesday night between 1830 - 2130.

🔥 ELLON FIRE STATION NEEDS YOU TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN OUR COMMUNITY TO KEEP IT SAFE!!

Ellon fire station is in real need of people to become on-call Firefighters who are able to respond during the day and night from home or work.

If you have a interest or would like more information on what it is like to be an on-call firefighter please message our page!

Are you aged 18 or over?
Work or live in Ellon?
Have a good level of physical fitness?
Do you want to learn new skills, broaden your horizons and protect your community?

We are recruiting On Call Firefighters from all different backgrounds. Age isn't a barrier - as long as you can pass the national tests.

All our Firefighters carry a pager and respond to a range of emergency incidents and engage with local communities alongside there main employment.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO THIS YEAR’S MAIN RAFFLE SPONSOR B Mech Autos

Everyone at the Ellon fire station would like to say a massive thank you to B Mech Autos for their incredible support of this year’s raffle! Not only have they sponsored our 1st prize, but they have also sponsored our 2nd prize!

These prizes are -
1st a £500 Supermarket Voucher
2nd a £250 Supermarket Voucher

As well as these prizes we have already started receiving some fantastic donations from local Businesses!

Raffle tickets are still on sale and will also be available to get throughout the Open Day on the 29th of August.

This years Open day parade starts at 12.15 and our doors open at 12.30!

Yesterday, some of the crew took part in The Railway Relay running from Peterhead to Ellon along the old railway line.
After a busy week and with more than a few sleep deprived Fireys on the start line, Team 2 (bib 4) came out on top from the station!

A great day and effort from everyone involved, well done to all who took part! 👏🏃🚒

Special mention to Nikki at Ellon Embroidery and Printing for getting our Run tops printed!
