BIG SUMMER WEEK 5💦

On Monday we had our last Sportsernoon with hockey, football, and tennis! 🎾

We hid from the rain on Tuesday with a trip to the cinema to see Minions & Monsters!🍌

Wednesday we had a movie and cooking day with diy pasta and cloudy with a chance of meatballs!🍝

On Thursday we had the pleasure of another morning with Water of Leith Conservation Trust hunting for bugs and dipping in the water! 🪲

We ended our week with a BIG Splash day; water fights, inflatables and hot chocolates! 🍫

BIG SUMMER WEEK 3🍦

Crafternoon was filled with felt squashies, hamma beads, and sun catchers! ☀️

Our first beach trip of the week was to Aberdour where the kids enjoyed splashing in the sea and digging in the sand! 🌊

We had a park picnic at Saughton park and rose garden with delicious snacks!🍓

Seniors had their very own beach trip to North Berwick with a cold dip in the sea before warming up with fish and chips! 🐟🍟

We ended our week with music mystery Friday; making and trying different instruments, and preparing for our Musical week!🎻

BIG Summer week 2!🌊

Our week started with a Sportsernoon of tag rugby and rounders!🏃‍♀️

Tuesday we braved the rain with a beach day at Silverknowes, digging in the sand and splashing in the sea! 🏖️

Some of our Buds kids enjoyed ice creams with a view of Edinburgh Castle!🍦

Seedlings had their club trip to The Yard and enjoyed getting stuck in with muddy water play, riding bikes, and sliding! 🛝

Our mystery Friday included a great BIG bake off, slime, bracelets, and a water fight! 🎂

BIG SUMMER WEEK 1☀️

We started the week with crafternoon; jewellery making, CD decorating and ink stamping!🎨

On Tuesday we hid from the rain and headed to the cinema to see Supergirl!🦸‍♀️

Wednesday was our first park picnic with lots of kite flying, playing and snacking!🍒

On Thursday Buds took a ride on the All Aboard Edinburgh canal boat and even got to steer! 🚤

We ended the week with sports and a mini splash day with water fights!💦

BIG Weekly Clubdate✨

Our 🔑 skill winners this term were Jinan, Aseel and Jack!

All clubs enjoyed summer parties with discos, games, quizzes, art, and lots and lots of whipped cream during pie face! 🥧

BIG Weekly Clubdate ✨

Our 🔑 skill was confidence 💪

Seedlings 🌱 tried to pin the tail on the fish 🐠 and played outside

Buds 🪴 got to dancing 💃 and made some amazing art pieces out of “junk” to take home

Seniors ⚡️got into benchball and played an epic game of empire

Roots 🌿 made bracelets and got into Lego games

Next week is the last week of clubs before the summer ☀️

BIG Weekly Clubdate!✨

Our 🔑 skill was communication!🗣️

Seedlings 🌱 were super quiet sleeping lions, made puppets and played dobble!🦁

Buds🪴 spent lots of time outside with chalk, played dope or nope, tried indoor hockey and did a pastel challenge! 🏒

Seniors ⚡️ played red red river, splat, capture the flag, uno no mercy, and taboo! ⛳️

Roots 🌿 played basketball, made paper plate pals and got creative with outdoor free play! 🏀

Today is the last day to sign up for our Summer Holiday Programme on class for kids!

BIG Weekly Clubdate ✨

Our 🔑 skill this week was teamwork 😊

Seedlings 🌱 enjoyed the glorious weather outside and got creative in art

Buds 🪴 made the most of the sun making paper aeroplanes, relay racing and den building

Seniors ⚡️ hung out in the sun ☀️ having a mini barbecue after some rounders

Roots 🌿 had a go at some frisbee, watercolours and free play on the Trim Trail
