As Scouts we know first-hand the power of adventure to build young people’s confidence, skills and wellbeing.

That's why we're delighted to see the Schools Outdoor Residential (Scotland) Bill passed today by The Scottish Parliament, helping ensure more young people can benefit from the incredible resource that is Scotland's great outdoors.

🚀 Jamie’s Journey 2025 — Join Us for a Day of Purpose!
We’re excited to announce that Jamie’s Journey 2025 is happening on Saturday 13 December 2025! Starting at the home of Scouting in Scotland — Fordell Firs — our route will take us all the way to Bonaly — the base for the two incredible charities we’re supporting this year. 

Whether you’re walking, or fundraising from the sidelines, you’re helping raise awareness and vital funds for families navigating loss and hardship. Everyone taking part will receive our special collectible badge featuring this year’s logo — a small token of thanks for taking on the challenge.

Leadership Opportunities at Bonaly Scout Centre!

Following the news that our current Chair, Peter Casebow is moving to take on the role of Regional Centres Lead https://sesscouts.org.uk/peter-casebow-regional-centres-lead/ we’re looking for two inspiring volunteers to join the leadership team at one of Scotland’s most iconic Scout Centres:

🔹 Chair of Bonaly Scout Centre
🔹 Bonaly Service Team

At Bonaly, we believe amazing things happen in the great outdoors. Nights away build confidence, friendships, and life skills — helping young people to do their best and create memories that last a lifetime.

These two leadership roles are key to making that happen:
- The Chair will provide overall direction and leadership for the Centre.
- The Service Team Lead will guide, support, and inspire the volunteers who make Bonaly such a special place.

If you’re passionate about adventure, teamwork, and empowering others — this is your chance to make a real impact!
