It's National Storytelling Week, so join us in Craigmillar Library this Saturday 7/2 for some cosy stories. You can enjoy Ailie Finlay at 11am or our own session at 2pm; or you could spoil yourself, and come to both! Both sessions are suitable for ages 3-6 (with their lucky adults). No booking required 😍

Great opportunity for anyone interested in film-making with free workshop and film making opportunities in Craigmillar next year:

Looking for new local filmmakers!

We're building a new team in Craigmillar to create a series of short films - and we’re looking for some local talent to join us.

If your passion is camera, acting, editing, music or writing, this could be a great chance to develop your skills, work on a live project, and take part in future productions with our team.

We’re planning a free one-day workshop early in the new year with a highly acclaimed filmmaker/BAFTA Breakthrough Artist - including a hands-on short film challenge. Support with travel or childcare costs may be available. The workshop is open to anyone aged 16+ who is not currently in formal education.

We didn’t go into this business with the plan of chauffeuring celebs about the place…. Yet here we are, taking the famous on the first leg of their trip, to the bright lights of London, to meet up with the other Scottish legend that is Lorraine Kelly! Delighted to be able to volunteer our services to get these wee guys to wherever this road may take them. One good turn deserves another - and if we all just showed a bit of extra kindness and spread joy this festive season just think of the difference that could make ✨
