June seen more sunshine as we get ready for the summer holidays to begin and our drop-in groups made the most of this with BBQs and ice cream sundaes.

We were honoured to win SCVO Partnership of the Year for Time to Talk program.

And to top off another busy month we were delight to see our latest recipient of the Youth Agency Award for Personal Development be presented with this award.

Let’s hope the sunshine stays as the school holidays get underway ☀️

⭐PDA in Youth Work (SCQF Level 6) at LAYC⭐

The Professional Development Award in Youth Work has been designed for those working with young people in a Community Learning and Development context.

It is suitable for people who have experience of youth work in a paid or volunteering capacity but who might not have formal qualifications in youth work.

We are delighted to share that “Time to Talk” won SCVO’s Scottish Charity Awards Partnership of the Year award.

This award recognises the partnership work being provided across the city by the Youth Agency, The Junction - Young People, Health and Wellbeing, 6VT Edinburgh City Youth Cafe, Canongate Youth, Granton Youth and NHS Lothian to ensure young people and their families have access to mental health and wellbeing support where and when they need it.
