Not long to go until the Gilmerton Show 2026 and we are so excited to be running an autumn show! 🍁🍂

Lots of classes for everyone from Hunters to Hairies to Handsome Geldings and everyone in between! 🦄🐴

This is also one of your last chances to qualify for the Caledonian Championships! 🏵️

Pre-Entries are only £8 per class and entries on the day are £10 per class.

Lots and lots of rosettes to be won and fun to be had for all so make sure to get your entries in before Wednesday 2nd September so we can make sure the show is viable!

There’s only a few weeks to go until the rescheduled Gilmerton Show which is due to take place on Sunday 6th September at the Drum Estate by kind permission of the More-Nisbett Family.

It’s time for the rescheduled Gilmerton Show! 🥳

After having to cancel back in June we are now ready for to go again with an autumn show with the same summer vibes and same fun classes for everyone ☀️🍁🍂

We are currently awaiting confirmation on judges which will be updated as soon as possible but for now ENTRIES ARE OPEN!

Ernie has decided he no longer wants to be grey but wants to be identified as a brown pony from now on 😭😂

Jack has had a lovely settled first night and spent this morning getting a wee pamper and a first look round the indoor school!

As expected nothing phased this lovely lad in the slightest ☺️

Say a huge Drum welcome to Jack! He is a lovely Irish boy who we can’t wait to start working with. He is 10yrs old and 15.2hh. Our team have loved him since the minute they went to see him 🥰

Well that’s a wrap for our Summer 2026 Own a Pony days!
Lots of smiles, friendships and fantastic results with lots of fun horsey disciplines.

The Drum RDA is so glad that so many enjoy, learn and most importantly make new friends on these lovely days and we look forward to hearing about your favourite moments!
