Currently a smallish group, a stable base to build on. Always a warm friendly welcome for new or returning members wishing to help us achieve our ambition of promoting awareness of Gaelic language and music are always welcome. You will face no nerve-racking auditions. Gaelic Learners will find no better or more enjoyable way to improve pronunciation. We don’t expect everyone to have knowledge of Gaelic or the ability to read music. Recordings are normally available to assist with learning of both. In the past we have accepted invites to perform at events as diverse as book launches, conference dinners, ceilidhs and care homes. Seldom refuse an opportunity to sing. Of course we have time for social events too - group outings to theatre, Borders Railway train trip with visit to stately home, and the occasional pub night out just to relax. We have taken part at Royal National Mod, and Provincial Mods in Scotland in the past. Aspiring to do so again in the future.
