Ladies, our popular Liverpool trip has just got even better!

We're now opening this fantastic 5-day adventure to female family and friends. Non-members are very welcome to join us for an additional £10.

To make this trip happen, we need a minimum of 35 passengers, so please spread the word and invite your mums, daughters, sisters, friends, neighbours, and work colleagues!

We'll be staying at the fabulous Pullman Hotel in Liverpool, enjoying great company, delicious food, and wonderful days out exploring three countries in just five days.

Join Dumfries Get Together

🌸 Samye Ling Annual Tea Party & Open Day
Open to female family and Friends 🌸

Join us for this very popular annual visit to Samye Ling. I have organised a bus from Dumfries, so why not come along and enjoy a relaxing afternoon exploring the beautiful grounds, temple, gardens, shop and Tibetan Tea Rooms.

🚌 Bus Details

The coach will leave Brooms Road Car Park at 1:00pm on Sunday 30th August 2026, arriving at Samye Ling around 2:00pm, giving us plenty of time before the Tea Party begins.

The event runs from 2:00pm – 5:00pm, and the bus will leave Samye Ling at 5:00pm, returning to Dumfries at approximately 6:00pm.

💷 Entry Cost: FREE

We did this trip last year and had a lovely day. There was so much to see and do, and hopefully this year the sun will be shining so we can enjoy the gardens in full bloom.

Once we have names, the cost of the bus will be divided between everyone attending. Payment can then be made into the Dumfries Get Together account. Please remember to reference your name and “Samye” when making payment.

As always, refreshments will be available free of charge to everyone who comes and you will be most welcome to spend time in the temple and wander through the grounds to see all the changes and improvements since your last visit. Our shop and Tibetan Tea Rooms will also be open all afternoon.”

I’m looking to see who would be interested in something a bit different for our Christmas night out this year… so I’m organising a festive overnight trip!

• Return coach travel from Dumfries (53-seater coach)
• Pickup and drop-off at Brooms Rd Car Park
• Visit to the Kelpies on the way
• Overnight stay at the King Robert Hotel, Bannockburn in Stirling

Due to a few unexpected cancellations, we now have places available on our Belfast trip.

🛏️ Single and twin rooms available
Please add your name on the website and comment below with the room type you’d like.
If you’d like a twin room but don’t have someone to share with, don’t worry — we’ll try to pair you up.

💼 What’s included in the price:
• Three nights B&B at the Holiday Inn Belfast City Centre
• Return sailings Cairnryan–Belfast with Stena Line
• Coach excursions while in Belfast

Please note: Some attractions may have additional ticket costs, but we’ll do our best to arrange group discounts where possible.

🍽️ First night meal together!
We’ll all be having our evening meal at the hotel on the first night, so it’s a great chance for everyone to get together and start the holiday off properly.

Some members will be choosing to have all their meals at the hotel, and this can be organised closer to the time.

🚍 With our own coach in Belfast and plenty planned, it’s going to be a fantastic few days away!
