Dumfries Musical Theatre Company (DMTC) is Dumfries’ only musical theatre company with its own wee theatre, The Brigend.

In 1972, we purchased a former church which was being used as a joiner’s workshop and converted it into a 91 seat theatre. The Brigend Theatre is located next to the Devorgilla Bridge in Dumfries and is owned by the Dumfries Musical Theatre Company who usually perform two shows a year. This fully equipped, 91 seat theatre comes with full sound and lighting system, two spacious dressing rooms and r
