Join our team as a Multi-skilled Carpenter (Kitchen and Bathrooms) in Dorset 🔨

You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality kitchen and bathroom fits, including a variety of works such as carpentry, tiling, decorating, floor laying, plumbing (1st & 2nd fix) and more.

You’ll need to be qualified with at least one-year post-qualification experience. Experience in carrying out plastering, UPVC window repairs and installs would be advantageous. We’ll provide you with all the power tools you need and a van for travel.

Working Together to Keep Our Communities Safe

Dorset Police have been working in partnership with Magna Housing to support the civil proceedings of an immediate repossession of a property due to ongoing issues including anti-social behaviour, squatting, and concerns around drug use.

We understand that actions like this are not taken lightly, and it is never our intention to make individuals homeless. However, we have a clear duty of care to protect the wider community—including neighbouring residents who have been impacted.

Kerry Starling, Magna's Head of Customer Contact and Community Support, said: "We're pleased to have worked in partnership with Dorset Police to bring a stop to ongoing antisocial behaviour and criminality at this address, which had caused years of misery to neighbouring residents. It's an example of how working together can have a positive impact on safety in our local communities.

We would like to thank members of the public for your continued support, patience, and the valuable information you provide. Your reports and intelligence play a vital role in helping us take action and maintain safe neighbourhoods.

If you’re feeling the heat like we are, it’s important to remember to stay safe when you’re out and about and when you’re at home too ☀️👇

• Try to stay out of the sun during the hottest time of the day (11am – 3pm)
• Stay hydrated throughout the day and drink plenty of water
• Keep your home cool by closing windows and curtains in rooms that face the sun
