Jensen returned home this afternoon after almost 6 days in hospital with pneumonia.

His respiratory treatment won't stop and will continue at home, his c-pap ventilation machine has now been joined with a nebuliser machine... more equipment!

If ever there was a time and a reason for you to donate to Mission Jensen, today is one.

Jensen doesn't recover from colds, infections, viruses like you or I. He's suffered for 10 days, different antibiotics, so today he's been admitted, on an IV with new meds to clear him of pneumonia and likely to have to stay in overnight for monitoring.

Sophie is jumping out a plane in July to raise money for Mission Jensen, and we appreciate every pound donated.

Mission Jensen update 5/5

This one is crazy, and I need everyone who reads this to get behind it!

I still can't believe anyone would be willing to do something as mad as this for our cause, but two incredible colleagues of mine at Wessex Internet are jumping out a plane!

The mad Sophie and Katy are taking to the sky in July for a skydive!

Jensen update 4/5.

On Christmas Eve, Jensen and Mina's beloved great-grandad passed away.

His wish for funeral donations was to support Mission Jensen. Thank you to all family and friends who donated over £200. 💙

Before Christmas (yes, this is how far behind I am with updates lol) Wessex Internet had another office bake sale, raising over another £100 for us!

Jensen update 2/5 - Powerchair football

Results may not have gone the Jurassic Chargers way on Sunday, but despite being in pain and having to play both games in full, Jensen did himself proud as he gains match experience, coming close to scoring a number of times.

It'll all start clicking for the team soon, with some long periods not conceding in both matches.

Lots of Jensen updates I'm a bit late posting. The algorithms don't like multiple posts in quick succession so it's a week of daily updates to catch up on the news. In true click-bait fashion - Just wait until you see Friday's news!

Update 1/5 - Medical
Really busy week for Jensen which included:
💉 Successfully getting through what has become his biggest anxiety of a blood test that has been long overdue.
🏫 Annual Care Plan review at school
🫁 Review of his ventilation machine and mask, as we need to be ready for when we are inevitably told that not wearing it is not an option overnight.

Unfortunately he was too unwell for his SALT assessment to finally confirm his autism diagnosis (5years later), one to rearrange.

Once again Jensen made us super proud. His first ever match for Jurassic Chargers and he scored on his debut!

The results might not have gone the teams way, but his controlled passing was amazing to watch against some really established players and teams. He didnt look out of place at all. 🟢🔵

Jensen's dad's ghostly shipmates at Wessex Internet in our affectionately named 'middle cabin' had a slightly impromptu Halloween bake sale today - and we raised an incredible £350+ for Mission Jensen. Here's hoping no one ends up as skeletons in Davy Jones locker over the weekend because of it!
