A little independent rescue located in Tenbury Wells. Taking care of Kittens/Cats , Small Furries and Birds.

Hi my name is Zoe Young I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2009 but have worked in practice since 2005. Several years ago I completed a Certificate in Feline Friendly Nursing and can now be found on the International Cat Care website listed as a Feline Friendly Nurse. I have always had a passion for saving animals since I was a little girl and started rescuing and rehoming kittens 10 years ago when I started working in Vet Practice. Over the years I have worked with hundreds of cats both domestic and feral. Rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming those without homes and capturing feral colonies and organising for them to be neutered and released again as appropriate to keep the feline population under control. Anyone who knows me will tell you I have a real passion for the Feline species. Many describe me as the crazy cat lady!! Or perhaps just crazy as on many occasions I have taken other animals home including stray ferrets, chinchillas and orphaned baby birds! My aim now that I have built my luxury chalet is to become a non profit organisation or charity to enable me to organise official fundraising events to help with the expenses of looking after the animals that come into my care. Thankyou for taking the time to view my page and supporting me in my ongoing work.

I have taken in another 4 kittens over the last couple of days . As they have come from feral backgrounds originally they would benefit from getting into their new homes as soon as possible to get them further socialised and acclimatised . They are all sweet and very brible with food. They will as always be wormed and deflead before they leave .

Anyone for a golden oldie? Max is looking for a new home after his owner sadly passed away . If you would be interested in giving him a retirement home then please contact Teme vets on 01584810227 . I’m told that although he’s an older boy he’s a solid chap with no obvious health issues . He likes a fuss and lives for food 🥰

Remember little Dustin ? Well look how much we’ve grown 🥰🥰. We are now very much a little duck! And turns out she’s a girl. Since transferring her to her outside space she has become much more independent and actually more wary of people. Sad for me but the right thing for her . It shows how that natural instinct is still there in wild animals. I have found someone who has also been rearing ducklings to integrate her with so that they can all be released together when the time is right .

The cutest pile of little smittens. Cleo and her babies are doing very well . They are obviously far to little to go at the moment but will be looking for forever homes in a few weeks time. Support would be much appreciated of food and litter if anyone would like to donate .

I’m still here guys! Having set up my new business venture recently iv been very busy getting things up and running ! I’m still working as a nurse , looking after my family and playing football for Tenbury Ladies alongside the rescue so understandably I’ve had little time to post things. However, I’m still taking in rescues and helping as many things as I am able . This morning the cat who i took in at the end of last week has given birth to 6 kittens . I have an under weight feral here who was found in Cleobury North , 2 vasectomised ferrets and Dustin the duckling who continues to thrive. Food and litter donations as always are very much appreciated . Wood shavings would also be useful for the small furries . Thanks to everybody for your continued support. ###
