2 years and 4 projects later we have finally come to the end of the South Shropshire Stories project. The SSS project was about young people getting to explore special places around South Shropshire and meet people who would tell them stories or about the history of these places. Young people would then interpret that information into media content.
It's been quite a challenge battling the weather and getting this project finalised but there are some amazing pieces of work that young people have come up with focusing on some fantastic locations in South Shropshire including Westhope, The Long Mynd, Mahorall farm and the Novers woodland. We've met some amazing people who have shared their knowledge and their experiences about life in South Shropshire.
We are inviting you to a celebration event at Mahorall Farm, located between Clee Hill and Tenbury on Saturday 6th June - come and meet the young people involved in the project, watch their films and join us for tea and cake! Whether you were involved or not its a great showcase to show some examples of some of the work we do, and we are hoping to inspire others to get involved in similar activities.
Booking link in comments below, the event itself is free but we'd like to know numbers
