Hi Des. Please somehow kick me out of both the Dorch and Weymouth pages. It's confusing "owning" so many accounts. I will join/follow as an outside. Thank you.

Our new Trishaw has arrived all the way from Copenhagen! Introducing “Lottie” who is already busy out and about on the streets of Dorchester along with our other Trishaw “Badger.” Huge thanks to the National Lottery Community Fund, Dorchester Town Council, Poundbury Commumity Trust, Risk Stop and many local Dorchester Residents 😊

How lovely is this! Our fabulous care professional Ann thought that her client Ruth could do with a new experience and the chance to see Poundbury whilst feeling the wind through her hair on a bike. She arranged a fantastic trip with Cycling Without Age - Dorchester who were fantastic in accommodating her and arranging the trip.

Cycling Without Age’ are a non-profit initiative with the guiding principles of generosity, slowness, storytelling, relationships and without age. They can help people regain social connection and give them a chance to tell their story in the environment where they have lived their lives. These experiences can reinforce trust, respect and a sense of community as well as having physical and emotional well-being benefits.
We think this is an amazing idea and scheme and the values tie in with our very own values at Home Instead.

Ruth absolutely loved the experience and has gained so much along with Ann. It's lovely to see our clients and care professionals building such close bonds through shared experience.
