Every child is different, and every child deserves support that meets their needs 💚

At our Link Work Child Contact Centre, we recognise that children and young people experience family separation in different ways.

Some children benefit from creative activities and sensory play, helping them express themselves in a safe and comfortable way🎨
Others may prefer quieter spaces, structured activities or outdoor play⚽️

We provide a range of toys, games and environments designed to support children of all ages – from babies and young children through to teenagers – including those with additional needs 💚

Through a child’s eyes 👁️

As part of Contact Centre Week, we are proud to support children and families by keeping children’s voices, experiences and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do.

We also encourage families and professionals to explore NACCC resources such as the Parenting Plan and wider Putting Children First guidance to support child-centred approaches.

At our contact centre, we create safe, welcoming spaces where children can feel comfortable, express themselves, see family they are separated from, and simply be children.

From creative activities like handprint painting to calm environments and outdoor play, every detail helps children feel safe, supported, and understood during a time of change.

Because when children feel safe, their voices can be heard. 💚

Unite the Union Event 🌟

Last Tuesday, our Senior Specialist Project Worker, Jacqui and our new Business Development Manager, Sinder, gave a talk at the Unite the union East Midlands event!

They spoke about Domestic Abuse, and how employers can spot warning signs and effectively support their employees through it 💚 They spoke about the Freedom Programme and how it can support survivors, as well as domestic abuse statistics affecting both men and women. The team were overwhelmed with the audience's interest in our services!

Thank you, Unite the Union, for the opportunity to share our work with your audience 💚

Thank you, Juniper Training!💚

One of our dedicated Specialist Project Workers, Jacqui, delivers sessions at Juniper Training to 16-19-year-old students. 18 of these students with an interest in Health & Social Care visited our building a couple of weeks ago to learn more about the work we do. Some of these students then came and brought toiletry and food donations that they put together for our women! 💚
