This year, the Mill Museum’s Level 4 Fox Gallery is hosting a series of exciting artist exhibitions 🖼️

We’re delighted to welcome our next exhibiting artist, Amy Thornley-Heard, from this coming Tuesday 9th June 🤗

Amy is a Devon-based sculptor whose work
explores matrescence, mothering, womanhood, girlhood, food, agriculture, and memory. Working with clay and found materials, she transforms
everyday objects through multiple processes to create sculptural forms.

Influenced by her experience of matrescence and her upbringing on dairy farms, Amy’s practice is rooted in a deep connection to land, labour,
nourishment, and care.

This exhibition will include a collaboration of art works by Kerry Priest, Lisa Evans, Zoe KM Foster, Sylvia Gassner & Silvia Salerno.

🌟 Volunteer of the Month 🌟

Chris has been with us for 5 months now, and we’re so grateful for all his hard work and dedication! 👏

At the moment, Chris is working hard clearing the leat by removing excess reeds while carefully leaving enough behind to protect and support our wildlife 🦆🌱

What Chris loves most about volunteering is helping to make the Mill look beautiful and welcoming for everyone. He enjoys keeping the grounds looking presentable, connecting with people, and being part of such a friendly community 😊🌿

Thank you, Chris, for everything you do — your efforts make a huge difference! 🙌💚
