Well, that’s a wrap for the USA’s second Uffculme show.

We had a great day, so a great big thanks to our sponsors, traders, performers, Jim our commentator and the crowds who thronged to the show. As ever, a few things to work on next time, but all in all a fantastic day!

Of course a very big thank you should go to the Uffculme Show Committee and the volunteers who make it all happen. By the community, for the community.

More volunteers and committee members needed for next time, watch this space!❤️

Yay!! It’s Showing Day!!!

Ahead of Show Day on Sunday here is some important information to help everyone's day go safely and smoothly.

- For obvious reasons Bridwell Park is designated a non-smoking area. The risk's from accidental fires from matches and cigarette butts is too high.
- NO motorised traffic will be permitted to use the Commercial Road entrance to Bridwell Park on Sunday. All show and other traffic onto the estate must use the Bridwell Avenue entrance reversing the usual one-way system in the Park. The Exit route will take you onto Commercial Road on your way out.
- Please bring plenty of water, sun screen and headwear. It looks like it's going to be a lovely day so stay hydrated!
- If you are bringing young children, do make use of our ID wristbands in case your child loses you on the showground. You just write your contact details on it before putting it around their wrist.
- Do listen to any instruction given by the Marshals and Security. They are there to help the day go safely!

Uffculme Show, Sunday 23rd August

With just 4 days to go until the show, we’re getting excited to welcome The Shetland Performance Display Team to our Main Ring

The team came together through the inspiration of the owners and riders of these beautiful pure-bred Shetland ponies, the UK’s smallest and oldest native breed.

The team offers an exciting range of performances, from mini Gold Cup hurdle races to flat races, relay races, and hunter challenges. When not in the main ring, they will also be providing an educational display - showcasing the history of Shetland ponies, from their island roots to the present day. Their interactive Meet & Greet sessions mean Uffculme Show goers will be able to get up close and personal with these amazing ponies!

Adult entry £10 tickets available online at uffculmeshow.org/tickets

£12 on the gate. Accompanied children 15 and under go free!

Music throughout the day at the show. The Music Stage will be close to the main bar and food court so eat, drink and be merry!

Timings:

Trev the Pianoman — 10:20–11:20am

James Kirby — 11:45am–12:45pm

James Kirby is an award-winning singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, renowned for his soothing vocals and signature percussive guitar style. Blending folk, pop, blues and indie rock, he captivates audiences with heartfelt performances. His acclaimed latest album, BREATHE, transforms personal struggles into songs of hope, earning him a loyal following and sold-out shows across the UK and worldwide.

Bar None — 1:10–2:10pm

Bar None is an energetic four-piece band delivering dance-driven rock, pop, indie and blues covers from the 1960s to today. Their vibrant setlist features hits by The Rolling Stones, Lenny Kravitz, The Black Keys, David Bowie and more. Featuring John, Paul, Andy and Graham, the band is known for their passion, tight musicianship and ability to create unforgettable live experiences.

Trevor James & Co — 2:35–3:35pm

Trevor James & Co are one of the finest live bands to emerge from the Blackdown Hills. This outstanding five-piece delivers superb rock and pop covers with a sprinkling of original songs. Their eagerly awaited second studio album will be released very soon. Expect exceptional musicianship, infectious energy and a memorable performance packed with feel-good moments throughout their set.

Mantis — 4:00–5:00pm

Mantis are a five-piece rock band from Exmouth delivering classics spanning the decades. Their explosive set features favourites by Bon Jovi, Foo Fighters, Paramore, Skunk Anansie, Green Day, Billy Idol and Linkin Park, alongside many more. Fronted by powerhouse vocalist Laura, Mantis combine musicianship, guitars, soaring vocals and irresistible energy to guarantee a thrilling finale.
