Join us for Storytime tomorrow morning from 10.30am.

We'll read a story in the library (hopefully in the garden, if the weather is sunny 😎🌞) and you can stay and play with our toys, puzzles and games afterwards.

Drop-in, free activity aimed at children 5 and under, although older children are welcome 😃

We need a young volunteer to help with our Code Club one or two Saturdays a month. Can you help? Or do you know someone aged 14+ who would be good in the role?

Code Club is a free drop-in event twice a month (1st and 3rd Saturday a month) at Cullompton Library that allows children to have fun coding mini-games and practising/learning on simple programmes like Scratch.

Some experience with the basics of coding will be useful but not essential as it will be easy to pick up, but the young person must be:
✅friendly 😁
✅willing to help and work with children 👧👦
✅be able to give clear instructions. 💬

There is still time to join the . The Summer Book Quest is running up to the 12th September 2026.

Speak to staff or young volunteers in the library to be signed up. It's really easy and quick to get started.

The library is open Monday to Friday from 9am-5pm. And Saturdays 9am-1pm

The summer fun continues in the library this week:

Wed 19th; 11am-12 noon - Peg Aeroplanes. Build your mini plane and decorate. £1 per child. For children aged 5+, no need to book, just drop-in and enjoy. 🎨

Thu 20th; 10am-12 noon - Lego Club extra. Free and drop-in session to play/build with our large Lego collection. Often there will be a challenge set to inspire your building. For ages 4+, children under 8 must be supervised at all times.

STILL time to sign up to the Summer Book Quest for children aged 4-11.
-Collect your free Book Quest pack 📚
-Collect stickers for reading and doing activities
-Finish and receive your medal 🏅

If you have started make sure you come back for your second sticker or your medal if you have achieved your reading aim.

Can't make the Wednesday Bounce and Rhyme, we have a morning session on a Saturday. 🎶

Free to join, drop-in and sing some nursery rhymes with your children 5 and under.

Singing with your children can help boost language development and memory and is a great way to bond with your child.
