Uffculme Primary School PTFA

23/10/2026

We want to say a massive THANK YOU to all the children who entered our pumpkin design competition! The creativity, colour, and effort blew us away, judging was no easy task, just ask Mr Wallace!

Each child will receive 2 Dojos for entering and a winner and runner-up were chosen for each year group:

🥇 Winners received a voucher for a medium pumpkin at Orway Porch Farm (thank you for the generous donation!)

🥈 Runners-up took home a Halloween colouring book 👻

Your enthusiasm helped raise an incredible £133.00 for Uffculme Primary School, what a fantastic achievement!

Wishing you all a fun-filled half term!

23/10/2026

As we head into half term, the PTFA has had a big sort through the Uffculme Primary School lost property. All named items have now been returned to their owners, so thank you for labelling belongings!

All unnamed items are currently in the school office foyer. Please take a few moments to have a look through if your child is missing anything.

A gentle reminder to name all clothing, water bottles, lunch boxes, shoes and other belongings. It makes it much easier for lost items to be reunited with their owners.

Thank you!

🕺🏽💃 The PTFA Dis-Glow disco is on Thursday 12th November Uffculme Primary School! 💃🕺🏽

The event promises an hour of disco dancing and great fun with friends, led by the PTFA team and a volunteering DJ dad!

🎟 £3.00 per child (payment by card or cash on arrival)
- Session One: 4.30pm to 5.30pm for Reception, and Years 1, 2 & 3
- Session two: 5.45pm to 6.45pm for Years 4, 5 & 6.

💧Drinks & snacks are included in the entrance cost so children will not need to bring any money. They will also get a glowstick.

📣 Do be advised that the disco will be dark and loud so do be mindful of this before sending your child.

- Drop off & collection: This event is taking place in the main school hall. Please queue for drop off at the back entrance off the school, by the water drinking fountain. Once your child/children have entered the hall you'll leave by walking through the school and out the main door by the office.
- Collection will be by queueing at the side door to the hall closest the to car park gate, and when the disco is finished the lights will go on and children will be lined up in year groups ready for you to take them home. Plenty of guidance will be available on the evening.
Register lists will be used to sign the children in and out.

🚗 All children are to be dropped off and collected by an adult. 🚗
Please bear in mind that we have had trouble with inappropriate parking causing congestion, please make sure you leave enough time to arrive and park safely. We would like to remind parents that the zig-zig road markings mean you should not park in front of school at any time of day as it makes accessing the school more dangerous and difficult.

Monies raised on the night will form part of the PTFA annual fund raising campaigns, directly supporting & enriching school life for our children.

Thank you
