🚨 Volunteers Wanted – Explorer Scouts (Hemyock) 🚨

We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic people to help run our Explorer Scouts (ages 14–18) on Friday evenings.

No experience needed—just bring energy and a willingness to get involved!

We are still running at full capacity so places are in demand, we are following our joining policy below, please do not ask Leaders for places, this puts them in a difficult situation; all places will be offered through the waiting list, search 1st Hemyock Scout Group and click join us.

It is advisable to add any younger siblings to the waiting list asap. We run one list for all sections.

Joining Policy - Priority will be given to:

1.Children moving into our catchment area who are already members of another Scout Group,(records will be transferred)
(Please note If your child is already a member of a group within our District or surrounding Districts and wants to transfer they will not have priority over those on the waiting list).

2.Child of uniformed Leader

3.Child who has sibling in Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs or Scouts

4.Child’s main residence must be within the Hemyock school catchment area or are attending Hemyock Primary school.

Time on waiting list may be taken into consideration.

We will contact you when a space becomes available for your child.

Please be aware that if your child is offered a place in a Section and it is not accepted, your child will be placed back on waiting list, there will be no priority for the next Section.

Saying goodbye to our friends new and old as we get ready to leave Tönder.

A huge thank you to Joss and all the leaders who have spent many, many hours planning, booking and organising a trip that will stay with the young people for life.
