A little update from the big TNR job we did a few weeks back. The cats are all settling in well. Even though they are ferals and working cats some are more feisty than others, so when Faye is matching cats to homes, much like the domestic ones, she tries to give people cats they request. Some want some "more friendly ones " whilst some don't mind ones that probably won't ever come around. It's worth remembering that even though they are feral working cats that sometimes they will let you fuss them when they learn to trust humans, usually their feeders. However this is on the cats terms they aren't made or forced to socialise with humans, they themselves choose too. A couple of the cats we relocated from the industrial site went to a golf course and their owner says it won't be long before one in particular is in the 19th hole aka club house. This is just so rewarding to see, to know all of the hard work we did, and it was really hard work, has made a difference and thats why we volunteer.
