For 66-year-old Kateryna*, life changed dramatically when full-scale conflict erupted in Ukraine. Alongside the realities of war, she faced declining health, hospitalisation, and surgery.

During this difficult season, she was invited to a local church, where she placed her faith in Jesus Christ and was later baptised. Today, Samaritan’s Purse is helping provide clean water to Kateryna’s community through the local church.

“This is such a great help for us,” Kateryna said. “Their help not only saves lives but also gives us hope.”

💧 Since 2022, Samaritan’s Purse has provided more than 34 million gallons of clean water to people in Ukraine.

🙏 Please pray that those receiving clean water would also come to know Jesus Christ, the Source of Living Water.

As a child, Minh (pictured) knew the pain of being left out because he was blind. But through a Samaritan’s Purse scholarship, he found new opportunities to learn, build friendships, and discover a passion for music. 🥁

“I’ve received so much help from Samaritan’s Purse,” Minh shared. “Now I want to support others in need.”

That desire to support others is shaping Minh’s future. Today, at 23 years old, he is studying social work, determined to offer life-changing support to others in need.

Today is a big day for Taequan, a little boy from Jamaica who is receiving life-saving heart surgery through our Children's Heart Project.

Would you take a moment to pray for him?

Ask God to give wisdom and steady hands to the surgeons and medical team caring for Taequan, to protect him throughout the procedure, and to give him strength for the recovery ahead. Please also pray for his family, that they would feel the Lord's presence and be filled with His peace in every anxious moment.

For children like Taequan, access to specialist heart surgery can be difficult or even impossible in their home countries. Through Children's Heart Project, children receive the critical care they need while being surrounded by people who want them to know they are deeply loved by God.

Since the deadly flash flooding in Nepal, Samaritan's Purse has been working alongside local church partners to meet urgent needs in Jesus' Name. This has included distributing relief supplies such as hygiene kits, tarps, blankets, and water filters to hundreds of families who have lost so much. 🎉 PRAISE REPORT: a successful heart surgery for Khangai!

Yesterday, Khangai from Mongolia went into open heart surgery through our Children's Heart Project — and he came through it beautifully. He is now starting his recovery in hospital.

For a boy born with a condition that couldn't be treated in his home country, this is nothing short of a miracle. Today, he has a second chance at life.
