As Ebola cases continue to rise in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Samaritan’s Purse has opened two Ebola Treatment Centers at the epicentre of the outbreak to provide life-saving care to those who are suffering.

Our teams have deployed to one of the hardest-hit regions of the country, where doctors, nurses, and disaster response specialists are working around the clock to care for patients, help stop the spread of the virus, and share hope in the midst of fear.

Before the doors opened, staff gathered together in prayer—asking God to protect patients, strengthen healthcare workers, and bring an end to this deadly outbreak.

Samaritan’s Purse has deployed a Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) to the Democratic Republic of the Congo 🇨🇩 as the country battles an ongoing Ebola outbreak.

Our teams are working around the clock to set up two Ebola Treatment Centres that will soon provide life-saving medical care to patients in Jesus’ Name.

Alongside the construction effort, Samaritan’s Purse medical experts are training local healthcare workers on infection prevention and treatment protocols to help stop the spread of this deadly disease and protect vulnerable families.

Bao travels around the countryside of Cambodia proclaiming the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. But this ministry was thrown into jeopardy when his finances started running low.

When visiting Bao's village, Samaritan’s Purse provided him and his wife with a chicken coop and 60 chickens plus training to care for them.

These chickens help provide Bao's family with a sustainable livelihood so that he can focus his energy on sharing the Gospel in a country where very few know Christ.
