The deadline for ESSA Awards 2026 submissions has been extended to 9 October.

🏆 The ESSA Awards 2026 are officially open for entries. What has your team done this year that deserves to be recognised? Will you be in this years photo call?

Maybe it was a brilliant project. A partnership that really delivered. A colleague who went above and beyond. An innovation that changed the way you work. Or simply a year of consistently doing what you do exceptionally well.

With 17 award categories, the ESSA Awards are our chance to celebrate the people, businesses, projects and collaborations making a difference across the exhibition industry.

That includes Best Member Collaboration, Unsung Hero or Best Collaboration with an Organiser – because some of the industry’s best work happens when we work together.

Today, we’re bringing the ESSA community together.

Members are arriving at Whittlebury Park for the ESSA AGM and Summer Event, a day to reflect, reconnect and look ahead.

The AGM gives us a chance to appoint the new Board, update members on the work taking place across the association and talk openly about the priorities shaping the year ahead

And then, of course, there’s the social side too. Teams at work to keep everyone cool as we speak.

Because sometimes the best conversations happen away from the meeting room - over coffee, lunch, or somewhere near the first tee.

There are just a few final golf places left for the ESSA Summer Event, taking place on 9 July at Whittlebury Park. Grab yourself one of the last remaining spaces to play alongside your industry colleagues.

This year, this event carries a very special meaning. We’ll be raising funds in memory of our much-missed colleague, friend and former board member Andrew Hickinbotham, supporting two charities close to his heart: Blue Ribbon Foundation and Heal Rewilding.

Andy gave so much to ESSA and the wider exhibitions and events community, and this feels like a fitting way to bring people together, enjoy some friendly competition and do something positive in his memory.
