Our youngest team member 💛

Our youngest Team Peru 2026 member, Edward, aged 6, sharing his feelings about heading home — and reflecting on an unforgettable time in Peru.

From the people he has met and the friendships he’s made, to the children and families who have touched his heart, it’s clear that Peru has left a very special mark on him.

Sometimes you arrive thinking you’re going to make a difference… and leave realising just how much the experience has changed you too. 🇵🇪❤️

We’re so proud of you and everything you’ve brought to our Kiya family. ✨

There are SO many reasons to join a Kiya Family Programme in Máncora… 🌊💗

It’s not just about coming to help — it’s about coming to experience, connect and become part of something bigger.

As part of our programme, we include surf lessons, giving families the chance to get out of their comfort zones, have fun together and experience a little of the local culture and way of life. 🏄‍♀️🏄‍♂️🌴

From meeting the incredible Mama Cocha families and volunteering alongside our team, to exploring Máncora, trying new things and making memories that will stay with you long after you leave…

Come for the volunteering. Stay for the experience. Leave with a whole new perspective. 🫶🏻🌎

A BIG shout-out to our incredible UK Chair, Olivia! 💗

Olivia has been working alongside Kiya’s Founder & CEO, Suzy, for over a decade — helping to raise vital funds, steer the charity forward, and bring her family, friends and others to Peru to volunteer alongside our amazing Mama Cocha team. 🫶🏻

Her commitment, passion and belief in Kiya over all these years has been truly incredible — and it certainly does not go unnoticed. 💗

Thank you, Olivia, for everything you give to Kiya. We are so lucky to have you by our side! 🌈✨

So incredibly proud of Ederson, the older brother of one of our Mama Cocha patients. 💗

His devotion to his little brother, his kindness, patience and the love he shows him is truly inspirational.

Being a sibling can be a journey of its own, and Ederson shows us the incredible power of love, loyalty and family. 🫶🏻

You are an amazing big brother, Ederson. We are so proud of you. 💗✨

The power of equine therapy. 🐴💗

A beautiful moment of connection between a child and a horse — where words aren’t always needed. Just trust, gentleness, patience and the quiet magic of simply being together.

Sometimes healing begins with a soft touch, a calm presence and four gentle hooves. 🫶🏻

A few words from Olivia 💛

A few words from our UK Chair, Olivia Rossdale, following her recent trip to Peru.

Olivia has been part of the Kiya family for many years and has seen first-hand the incredible impact our teams, volunteers and supporters have on the children and families we work with. (kiyasurvivors.org)

There is nothing quite like hearing directly from someone who has experienced Kiya on the ground — the connections, the challenges, the laughter and, most importantly, the difference that being there can make. 🇵🇪❤️

Watch Olivia share a little about her recent experience in Peru…

A huge thank you to ALL OUR AMAZING SPONSORS who make Mama Cocha possible. 💗

Your generosity helps us provide therapy, support, dignity and hope to the children and families we work with every day. We simply couldn’t do what we do without you. 🫶🏻

Thank you for believing in Mama Cocha and in every child we support. 🌈💗

Spending time with some of the incredible women who make Kiya what it is — our volunteers, our UK Board Chair Olivia, and some of my wonderful Mama Cocha team: Hedu, Astrid, Eliana and Esther. 💗

Your work is truly phenomenal. You are amazing therapists, leaders, humans and friends, and I feel so lucky to work alongside you. Thank you for everything you give, every single day. 🫶🏻

We surprised them with a much-deserved massage as a little thank you for all that they do. Because healing hands need to be healed too. 💆🏻‍♀️💗

So much love and gratitude for these incredible women. ✨

The Power of Laughter 🤡❤️

The clown Dr workshops we run are all about the power of laughter.

Our mamas, papas and incredible team step into the world of clowns — learning to let go, be silly, connect and, most importantly, laugh together. 🤡

This year, we took the show to the plaza! Watching everyone bring their characters, energy and joy to the community was such a beautiful reminder that laughter really is universal. ❤️

Volunteering isn’t just about what we give.

It’s about what we learn, what we feel, and the people who change us along the way. 🌎❤️

Another beautiful moment of connection, courage, laughter and a little bit of magic. ✨
