THIS IS A STEP FORWARD.
For some years we* have been trying to get EH to agree to us* fund raising for things which will enhance the Summer Solstice for All. Having successfully used Just Giving for my book I suggested to Rollo, and a number of other EH attendings (from our side*) that we* put forward to EH the idea that we crowd fund to pay for the costs of having the very successful stage at the Summer Solstice.
It came as a great shock to all RT Members including EH when we discovered that in previous years just one wonderful benefactor has funded the stage out of his pension.
This is the first time EH has agreed that 'we' can have a fund raiser which does mention 'Stonehenge' and 'Summer Solstice'.
This is a massive step forward.
Please support this project.
If it goes successfully there is no reason why it cannot be repeated and possibly expanded.
If you want a better experience then please support this project with both donations and by sharing it as widly as possible across all Social Media Platforms.
This appeal is in Rollo's name because of all those involved in setting up this funding page he seemed the most approriate to be the named individual, as required by Just Giving.
* We/Us = The people who go to the Round Table at our own expense and are not paid by any company/group/organisation to attend.
