📣 CALLING LOCAL BUSINESSES! 💙

We're getting some posters printed for Sienna's Big Night In with The Jerseys at The Core, Corby on 17th February 2027! 🎶✨

I wondered if any local businesses, shops, cafés, salons, pubs or community spaces would be happy to display one for us to help spread the word?

I'm more than happy to drop them off personally over the next week or so.

It's going to be a really special evening for our family, celebrating Sienna's remarkable recovery and giving something back to those who have supported her along the way. ❤️

We've been working on something very special behind the scenes, and we're so excited to finally share it with you all!

As we approach the one-year anniversary of Sienna being diagnosed with Acute Necrotising Encephalopathy (ANE), we wanted to do something meaningful to mark just how far she's come and, more importantly, give something back.

The past year has been the hardest of our lives, but it's also shown us the incredible kindness, generosity and support of our family, friends and wider community. So many people have played a part in Sienna's remarkable recovery, and we'll never forget that. ❤️

On Wednesday 17th February 2027, we're bringing Sienna's Big Night In with The Jerseys to The Core at Corby Cube, featuring a special performance from Ignite Academy of Performing Arts! 🎤✨

It's going to be a fantastic evening of live music, entertainment and celebration, all for some truly special organisations and services:

We're raising funds to support:

❤️ Kettering General Hospital Paediatric A&E – specialist equipment to support children and families.

❤️ Nottingham PICU / BRILL Team – specialist rehabilitation equipment to help critically ill children on their recovery journeys.

❤️ The Thomas's Fund – a wonderful Northamptonshire charity providing music therapy to children with life-limiting conditions.

These are causes incredibly close to our hearts, and this is our opportunity to help other children and families facing some of their toughest moments.

4 WEEKS BACK AT SCHOOL!

Sienna has now completed week 4 back at school… and what was supposed to be a phased return has somehow turned into 5 days a week, full time! 😂

And she is absolutely THRIVING.

She’s making new friends, loving being back in the classroom and even bagged herself Star of the Week! ⭐️

Over the last couple of weeks, Sienna has had in-class assessments with her Neuropsychology team from Nottingham and her Physio team, and once again she is exceeding expectations. To think how far she has come since leaving hospital in February is just incredible.

Her music therapy has also continued in school, and she now even has her own little hand-picked school band joining her for the sessions! 🎶🥁 🧡

We had another huge positive at her optometrist appointment this week too. Her vision has improved from around 1 metre to 6 metres in just a few months — putting her approximately 6 months ahead of schedule. 🙌

And another little milestone that felt absolutely MASSIVE to us…

Her belly tube wound has finally healed!

This week she had her first proper bath in 10 months. There was a LOT of splashing, laughing and excitement! 😂🛁 After everything her little body has been through, it's the ordinary moments like this that sometimes mean the most.

To everyone who still stops us and asks how Sienna is doing, thank you.

To the parents at school who have been so incredibly kind and supportive towards our family, thank you.

And to the amazing teachers and children in her class who pick her up when she falls, check she's okay and make sure she's included… thank you. 🧡

Four weeks in and our girl just keeps moving forward.

Today, we sent our beautiful girl back to school. ❤️

After everything Sienna has faced, this moment feels almost too big for words. She has fought so hard, worked tirelessly, and shown more courage and determination than we could ever have imagined.

Watching her take this step fills our hearts with so much love and pride.

Now she is in the hands of her wonderful teachers, surrounded by new friends, new experiences, and endless possibilities. We’re nervous, emotional, and finding it hard to let go—but above all, we are unbelievably proud of the incredible girl she is and everything she has overcome.

You’ve got this, our beautiful girl. Go and enjoy every precious moment. Keep shining, keep believing, and remember that we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way. The world is yours. 🌎✨

An absolutely incredible family, showing unimaginable strength, love and courage through the most unbearable circumstances.

Max was in intensive care at the same time as Sienna, and being from the same town has made his journey feel especially close to our hearts.

The love surrounding Max shines through every word of this update. Please keep this amazing family in your thoughts and prayers as they spend this precious time together.

Last night, without being asked, Adriana wanted to do Sienna's meds. As I stood there watching, I couldn't help but think how much these two little girls have already been through together.

When Sienna became critically ill, Adriana lost so much too. She lost normality, she lost time with her little sister, and she had to grow up far quicker than any child should ever have to. Yet through it all, she has never stopped loving, caring, and looking out for her.

Watching her so carefully and patiently helping with something that has become part of our everyday life brought a tear to my eye. Not because it's sad, but because it reminded me just how incredible children are.

People often talk about Sienna's strength, and rightly so, because she amazes us every single day. But last night, I was reminded that recovery isn't just about one person. It's about family. It's about love. It's about the quiet moments that nobody sees.

Two sisters. One incredible bond.

And one very proud mum and dad watching it all unfold. ❤️

Sometimes, in the middle of all the appointments, medications, and worry, you get moments like this that make you pause and realise just how lucky you are.

These girls have been through so much together, and I have no doubt they'll spend the rest of their lives looking after each other.

My heart is full. ❤️💜

Yesterday was one of those days that reminded us just how much kindness exists in this world. 🧡

When we got home from hospital in February, we were contacted by our amazing Priors Hall resident head chef, Cheryl Ash, who wanted to do something special to put a smile on Sienna's face.

Despite fighting her own battles every day, Cheryl took time out of her day, refused to accept a penny, and organised a wonderful "Pizza in the Park" afternoon for Sienna and her friends.

Sienna ate pizza, played games, laughed with her friends, and spent the afternoon doing exactly what every 4-year-old girl should be doing — playing without a care in the world.

A huge thank you to Cheryl and her family for creating such a special memory for us all. Your kindness won't be forgotten.

We'd also like to say a massive thank you to Country Pumpkin Bakery for unexpectedly donating 20 beautiful cupcakes. Such a lovely surprise that made the day even more special.

In a world where negativity often gets the headlines, we're constantly reminded that there are so many genuinely good people out there.

Thank you for helping make Sienna's world a little brighter. 🧡🍕🧁✨
