Rotary Club Cookham Bridge Cookham Bridge Rotary Club is a happy group of people enjoying themselves through fellowship and fulfilling projects both locally and internztionally.

New members and guest visitors are always welcome. Our major fundraising events are the Cookham Regatta (run jointly with Marlow Thames Rotary Club) which provides the local community with a family friendly annual day out. A number of additional fundraising activities allow us to donate around £18,000 per year to local, national, and international projects. These include: providing support for a s

chool and palliative care ward in South Africa; provision of water to a youth hostel and village in Nepal; support for ShelterBox and the Rotary International Polio Eradication programme. The Rotary Club of Cookham Bridge has 41 members drawn from a variety of occupations and retired. It has events weekly and is involved in a number of social and community projects in the Cookham and Bourne End. The Club meets at 7:00pm every second and fourth Wednesday at Winter Hill Golf Club in Cookham (SL6 9RP) - when most dinners are followed by a speaker. Rotary members are enthusiastic, fun-loving and active volunteers who give their time and talents to serve communities both at home and overseas and share a common interest in helping others.

Tonight's concert by Andrew Bourn was fantastic. Our thanks to him and the band for a great charity performance. This is the end of our fund raising year of bridge supper, Cookham 5k and 10k Run, Cookham Regatta, Autumn Quiz Night and this concert. Thank you to everyone who has supported us.
