Huge congratulations to Sarah Ellen Young and Donna Potter for winning the Best Supporting Actress award (joint nomination) for their performances as the ghosts in Colchester Theatre Group’s production of A Christmas Carol, directed by Abigail Rice, at this evening’s NETG Awards Ceremony 👏🏻🎉

Donna was scary as Jacob Marley and fabulous as the Ghost of Christmas Present, whilst Sarah was very commanding and surreal as the Ghost of Christmas Past and the Ghost of Christmas Future 👻

I also like to congratulate all of this year’s CTG’s nominees from A Christmas Carol and A Fete Worse than Death as it’s an honour to get the nominations in the first place, NETG adjudicated on a huge amount of shows and plays over the 2025/2026 season and we did amazingly well with 10 nominations from only 2 productions, so you should all be very proud of yourselves!

CTG is looking forward to the 2026/2027 season 😊
