A new two-year programme is supporting people affected by leprosy to develop their leadership skills, gain financial autonomy and become pivotal players in shaping solutions within their communities.

The Sasakawa Leprosy Initiative Young Scholar Programme is expected to play a critical role in nurturing the next generation of community leaders by placing meaningful participation, ownership, and leadership at its core.
