This poor little terrapin was found by somebody and luckily they took it to a vet. Our vet thinks it had a rat trying to eat through it's shell. And if that wasn't bad enough a dog then bit through it's shell and into it's body. Our vet has had it for the last 10 days giving it treatment and we picked it up this afternoon to.look after it during it's long recovery. He's settling in well and enjoying his basking lamp. Here's to a speedy recovery. Xx

UPDATE
Sadly she just passed away.

This poor sparrowhawk has been through it. She's been shot. One pellet was lodged in her leg and has broken it. The other piece of shot has gone straight through it's wing. A massive thank you to our amazing vet who has managed to remove the shot in her leg and has put a cast on to help the leg heal better. So now the recovery is down to us and her will to live! We need to get her to eat now. Wish us luck.
