We held another great Grub Club this week at our Chichester food bank centre!

Thanks to a generous donation from UKHarvest we had an array of delicious fresh food to offer our community.

Tomatoes, 🍅 peppers, 🫑 sweet potatoes, 🍠 bread & crackers 🍞 and lots more!

The surplus will be available to anyone who comes to collect their food parcel from one of our Chichester collection sessions - our next one is today (Friday), from 4-6pm.

Grub Club returns on Thursday 26 November from 1-2pm.

It’s open to all - just bring a shopping bag and make an optional suggested donation of £5 or whatever you can afford. Pick up some healthy food, and help save food from going to waste. 💚

We enjoyed an indoor gardening intro at the food bank this week. 🪴

Julia from Transition Chichester showed us how to grow organic produce easily and affordably inside. No garden needed!

Come and join us every Tuesday, at our Chichester food bank centre, 10.30am-1.30pm. Activities and lunch start around 11.

Everyone is welcome, and we always have a tasty shared lunch and a wellbeing activity or support organisation dropping in.

We meet every Thursday at 10am outside Petworth Library, so please do come and enjoy the autumn colours and fresh air with us.

The Chichester District Council Social Prescribers are on hand to chat if you want to, or you can just enjoy a quiet stroll.

Everyone is welcome and the walks are accessible for all. 💚

We’re teaming up with RSPCA Sussex West Branch CIO Mount Noddy & The Lighthouse Pet Hospital to offer free care for cats and dogs: health checks, flea & worm treatment, microchipping, behaviour & training advice.

Our Community Grub Club is back on Thursday at our Chichester food bank centre! 🥕🍞

🥦 Expect a great selection of rescued surplus food, donated by UKHarvest including fresh fruit & veg, bread and more (it changes every month!)

🛍️ Open to everyone. Just bring a shopping bag. A suggested £5 donation helps UKHarvest support more Grub Clubs, but no one will be turned away.

Come along to save money, reduce food waste and enjoy fresh, quality food. 💚

Enjoy a shared meal and chat to our friendly team about any support you might need.

Transition Chichester will be on hand too, to show you how to grow fresh produce at home using windowsills and containers. Plant a pot of herbs to take home with you! 🪴

Among the generous supplies were fresh fruit and vegetables, bread and eggs. 🥕🍏
